We hear “women supporting women” everywhere, but what does that support actually look like when money, business, competition and opportunity enter the picture?

Brit and Jen are talking about the side of female support that gets a little more complicated. We get into jealousy, referrals, networking cliques, mentorship, gatekeeping and whether we’re actually opening doors for other women.

We also look at our own behaviour. Are we recommending women when they aren’t in the room? Are we making introductions? Are we welcoming new people into our circles? And are we willing to support someone even when she might technically be our competition?
